Hi! I'm creating centerpieces for my friend's wedding. All it is are clear vases with a flower arrangement. How can I dress up the vase so you don't see the stems? Is there a creative way to do so?  Thanks!

You could wrap the inside of the vase with the big green leaves… something like this:

Depending what the color scheme is, you can put fruit in the vase.

Or coffee beans

Or you could fill it with rocks or jewels.

I suggested rocks/jewels, even sand but the people I'm working with are EXTREMELY frugal. I don't have much room in terms of a budget. The bouquets are towards a fall bouquet with some purples, yellows, oranges, little reds. Thanks! You all are awesome!!

Mine had leaves wrapped around as well…

But you can also use lemons or limes:

Maybe you could wrap the stems with an accent color ribbon so that they become a point of interest rather than trying to hide them. If the flowers need water, just wrap the middle part  leaving the ends exposed.

@Chartreuse:I tried that, but then when wrapping the flowers it looks funny in the vase. the vases are medium cylinders.

@WantToGoHome: I would try using something like beads or stones. There's also these little water ball things that you can order online. (I've also seen them at my local farmers market)  I know there are multiple places online to order them but this is what they look like.

Wanttogohome: Do you have a pic? It will help to promote inspiration LOLLaughing

Maybe you could make the flowers into a pomander-like ball and set it on top the vase so that no stems are in the vase? Then hang a crystal strand, or whatever matches the colors or theme, down into the vase like this pic:

with those colors and a tight budget, i'd go with fruit. you can cut up lemons or oranges, or fill the vase with cranberries. it looks great for fall.
